The Views at St. Joseph’s provides long-term care and services to members of our community who can no longer live alone independently. Access to these subsidized long-term care beds is coordinated through a Home and Community Care Case Manager.
Residents are attended to by personal physicians and are provided with professional nursing, direct caregiving, recreation/activation programs, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, music therapy, pastoral care, hairdressing, nutritional and social services. Our residents and their families are encouraged to make the Views their homes.
The Views at St. Joseph’s is operated by Providence Living, formerly known as Providence Residential and Community Care.
Inspired by the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, Providence Living is a Catholic health care community dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of those served through compassionate care, teaching and research.
We are committed to maintaining an elder-centred community where life revolves around close and continuing contact with plants, animals, and children fostering companionship and opportunities for spontaneous interactions.
The Views at St Joseph’s is grateful for the strong support received in volunteer hours, gifts in kind and donations. Since 2009, the Auxiliary for Comox Valley Healthcare, Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation and St Paul’s Foundation have collectively donated over $2 million towards capital projects and resident activities at The Views. Should you be moved to donate to our work in enhancing the quality of life for seniors at The Views, donations can be made through the Comox Valley Health Care Foundation and St. Paul’s Foundation.
