Our culture of care

In order to foster an inclusive and compassionate community for all residents, The Views at St. Joseph’s has committed to educating and training staff to support them in moving from an institutional model of care to a social model that values emotional connections. Our goal is to shift our care culture to one in which residents direct each moment and live life on their own terms. Through our social model of care, we are creating an environment that helps seniors continue living meaningful lives even when they become too frail to live independently.

The Views at St. Joseph’s offers long-term care accommodations in four-bed, semi-private and private rooms, and is also able to accommodate up to four people looking for a short-term respite stay. In addition, we proudly and compassionately serve four patients in our hospice unit. We offer restorative and respite care, as well as adult day program on the grounds.

Some of our services include an comprehensive activity program offered seven days per week, a hair salon, laundry service for personal items, pet therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, spiritual care, music therapy, art therapy, dietitian, and volunteer support.
